TWTeresa Wilson
Teresa was appointed director of the AOY in August 2008 following her key role in the Melbourne Days in the Diocese office in the lead up to World Youth Day 2008. Teresa is also heavily involved in the St Vincent de Paul (SVDP) Society, having been an active member and volunteer since her teenage years. She is currently the Deputy President on the SVDP National Council. Teresa was also the Youth Representative to the SVDP National Council for a number of years and held various positions on the SVDP Victorian State Council. She was one of the 12 young people chosen to lunch with Pope Benedict XVI when he made his first visit to Australia for WYD in July 2008.

 

TOTiffany Orbien
Tiffany joined the Melbourne Archdiocese in 2007 and worked in the Marketing Communications team in the lead up to Days in the Diocese and World Youth Day 2008. She completed her Masters degree in Communication (Major in Integrated Marketing Communications) and worked in brand management in the Philippines before returning to Australia. Tiffany handles the marketing communications for the office, designing all promotional materials and managing the website.

 

AWAnnaliese Wursthorn
Having travelled to World Youth Day for the first time in 2000 (Rome), Annaliese was immediately drawn to the faith-filled experience it offered. While she went on to become a Speech Pathologist, she continued her involvement in youth ministry. In 2008, Annaliese was chosen to join a team of young people who travelled around Australia on the Journey of the World Youth Day Cross and Icon in the lead up to WYD2008 in Sydney. In the same year she went to a nine-month Mission school in Rome, before returning to Melbourne and joining the AOY team as the World Youth Day 2011 Coordinator.

 

CCCamilo Cordoba (Part-time)
Camilo moved to Melbourne from Colombia in early 2009 and is currently studying Multimedia and English at university. Back home in Colombia, he was an active volunteer at various youth organisations, spending time teaching Catechesis to the less fortunate children in the countryside. Camilo works part-time in the office, using his Spanish-speaking skills to develop resources (including the soon-to-be-available downloadable Speak Spanish with Camilo! MP3s) in the lead up to World Youth Day 2011 in Madrid.

 

ASAdriana Sobolewski (Part-time)
Upon completing her Bachelor’s degree in Arts (honors) at Melbourne University in 2009, Adriana was offered a place in the Masters program for 2010. She currently studies and works part-time in the office helping in administration and uses her love of art to assist in the planning and execution of events. Her enthusiasm and bubbly personality is a welcome addition to the team.
